Faculty & Friends Concert: Wild Earth Women
February 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Wild Earth Women present Pulse of the Wild Earth
Faculty member Deborah Schmit-Lobis (piano/accordion), has some favorite musical friends she’s bringing to the Center for Musical Arts! Unique in the instrumentation of Swedish Nyckelharpa/Violin Cello/Banjo and Piano/Accordion with vocals, the Wild Earth Women perform everything from Nordic Cattle Calls to lovely flowing original instrumentals. Friends Sandra Wong on Nyckelharpa/Violin and Joy Adams on cello/banjo bring their Classical expertise as well as World Music sensibilities to this concert.
Eclectic and heartfelt, a concert with the Wild Earth Women shows their passion for making gorgeous and inspired music. You’ll be dancing, shedding tears or listening with a sense of calm, but you’ll know you’ve been immersed in an experience.
The concert is free and open to the public. As of the time of this posting, audience members must provide proof of vaccination at the door (including physical card, photo of card, MyColorado app, or proof of qualification for a booster) and wear a mask throughout the performance. Doors open at 6:30pm.
