Center faculty members will present a special (satirical) recital featuring the music of P.D.Q. Bach – Johann Sebastian Bach’s “only forgotten son.” The program includes piano pieces from the “Short-Tempered Clavier,” vocal works from “Four Folk Song Upsettings” for mezzanine soprano, and of course, the famous Schleptet in Eb Major for 7 instruments. Faculty members Alex Sierra, Deborah Schmit-Lobis, Jessica Daniel, Larina Gray, Devon Park, Sam Headlee, Anne Brennand, Rex Spease, Jackson McLellan, and Becca Kronyak will be performing, with Special Guest Photographer Geremy Kornreich on boomwhackers.
