Open House

Stop by the Center for Musical Arts to put a little music in your life! Enjoy an interactive day of music-making and fun. Whether you participate or listen, there are plenty of opportunities to experience the joy of music.

Creating music together makes us better humans by reducing stress and anxiety and boosting our mood; it also helps to build a better community through the shared joy of dancing and singing, sharing the language of music, and appreciating different cultures.

Join us for the following activities:

• Class Demonstrations – Curious about our classes? Pop in for short demonstrations led by our teachers
• Drum Circle – In this hands-on activity, everyone gets a drum or percussion instrument and contributes to the beat
• Family Philanthropy Workshop – Join us to learn about philanthropy as a family
• Folk Dancing – Join us for folk dancing—no experience required
• Instrument Playground – Enjoy music-making on our instrument playground
• Moo Mobile Truck (one free ice cream per person!)
• Open Mic – Whether you sing, play an instrument, or want to cheer on your neighbors, our Open Mic is the perfect place to share your talents
• Singalong with LifeSong Chorus members
