Honors Recital
September 11, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Each spring, Center for Musical Arts students prepare auditions for the Honors Recital with the help of their teachers. This year was very different, because auditions took place online. Our judges were Kaori Uno-Jack (Bassoonist; Faculty – University of Wyoming, Antero Winds, Colorado Ballet and Opera Colorado Orchestras); Aimée McAnulty (Violist, Ivalas Quartet and Colorado Music Festival Fellow); and Robert Spillman (Pianist and Conductor; Professor Emeritus CU College of Music). Center Faculty member and audio engineer Mike Quam assembled the performance premiering on Friday, September 11.
Thank you and congratulations to these wonderful Center for Musical Arts students. This year’s Honors Recital will occur online; the video will premiere on Facebook on Friday, September 11 at noon and on YouTube shortly after.
