Dar Zerwekh-ReardonAs an enthusiastic Music Together parent for 8 years, I am thrilled to continue my journey with Music Together as a teacher. I completed my Music Together training 4 years ago and have been teaching ever since. I believe that detailed and carefully thought out lesson plans allow for more flexibility and ability to improvise during the exciting and joyful moments of class. What I love most about Music Together is seeing a child find her singing voice for the first time, or a baby rocking himself to a steady beat. My early training is as a Physical Therapist (MPT, University of Utah), and I enjoy watching children achieve physical milestones along with their musical achievements. I love to dance and sing and play guitar. I can’t wait to sing, play, love and learn with you and your little ones!
Faith Halverson-RamosMy approach to teaching Music Together classes is child-focused and child-directed or influenced insomuch as possible. While Music Together helps children to develop an embodied understanding of music through rhythm and song, I also view Music Together classes as an opportunity for children’s personalities and creativity to develop, which she strives to support in class. I recognize that the dynamics of classes change depending on who is in the group that day, and I’m sensitive to how growing children with changing schedules/routines and other outside life circumstances can affect children and parents alike. My goal is to create a stimulating and engaging musical environment for the children, while also facilitating a supportive and enriching experience for adults. Above all, I want to help families have fun making music together.
