Biography
Bryan Dubrow has played guitar since the age of nine when he picked up his dad’s Gibson SG, messed with it for a few minutes, and was told “wait, don’t use that one.”
Now based in Colorado, where he’s an active freelance guitarist and teacher, Bryan spent the majority of his life planted firmly on the east coast. After growing up outside of Washington, D.C. where he performed local rock and metal shows and first encountered jazz, he headed south to Miami, FL. In Miami Bryan was immersed in jazz, receiving a degree in jazz performance from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music in 2017. Against the odds he developed a passion for bluegrass music while living in Miami.
Bryan has performed in venues around the U.S. and internationally, and has worked in genres including bluegrass, jazz, metal, and musical theater.
